Разработване и приложение на съвременни ЯМР спектрални подходи:
• ЯМР спектроскопия в течна фаза:
- Структурен анализ и стереохимия на синтетични органични съединения.
- Молекулна подвижност – класически динамичен ЯМР за изследване на тавтомерни и конформационни равновесия.
- Дифузионна ЯМР спектроскопия – изследване на надмолекулни комплекси, процеси на самоагрегиране и размери на частици в колоидни системи, анализ на сложни смеси.
- Химично профилиране и метаболомен анализ на екстракти от растителен произход
- Анализ на храни и природни продукти
- ЯМР спектроскопия с in situ облъчване
• ЯМР спектроскопия в твърда фаза:
- Структура на мезопорести силикати и зеолити
- Органични-неорганични хибридни системи
• ЯМР спектроскопия на меки материали:
- Полимерни (хидро)гелове
- Екстракти от медицински и ароматни растения

Центърът е оборудван с два съвременни ЯМР спектрометъра:
Bruker Avance II+ 600 със следните измервателни глави:
• 5 mm директна двойна глава (BBO, 31P - 109Ag/1H);
• 5 mm инверсна тройна глава (TBI, 1H/31P - 109Ag/13C);
• MIC-Diff30 двойна измервателна глава (1H/31P)за изследване на бавна транслационна дифузия;
• 4 mm CP/MAS двойна глава (31P - 15N/1H) за проби в твърдо състояние;
• 4 mm HRMAS двойна глава (1H/13C) за гелове и меки материали; устройство за автоматично подаване на пробите.
Bruker DRX 250 със следните измервателни глави:
• 5 мм директна двойна глава (BBO, 31Р - 109Ag / 1H);
• 5 мм четворна измервателна глава (QNP, 1Н, 13С, 31Р, 19F); оборудван с устройство за автоматично подаване на пробите, за рутинна и сервизна работа.
